Our farm includes over two acres of cultivated fields broadly terraced on the slope of Mount Tirzah and slightly beyond. We try to listen to our land and intermix perennial crops, small orchards, wild lands and song bird habitat amongst our fields. We grow vegetables and flowers year-round with the aid of our two hoop-houses, plastic covered structures only heated by the sun. We constantly strive to improve our land and practice crop rotation, cover cropping, minimal tillage, and include farm animals to help us with this effort. Farm animals include: chickens, dairy goats, honey bees, and composting earthworms.
